Bodee (dbL)
Bodee was in his mid 20’s when I pulled his shoes. He was lame in shoes and then went through a difficult rehab. The transition to bare took a couple of years before he was sustainably sound. He wasn’t lame all the time but he had bouts of lameness as he grew out the damage from flat trimming and steel shoes. At the time that I’m writing this he has been barefoot now for over 4 years. He’s been comfortable and back to some light ridden work for the past 2+ years.
