Trim Details - Saddling the Toe

In my opinion there shouldn’t be acute pressure at the sole between the toe contact points. The coffin bone is thin and vulnerable in this area and there’s very little flexion or shock absorption here. This area should be relieved of pressure when the foot is at rest and especially during break over. This video shows one of the techniques I use to achieve that slight saddle between the toe pillars.
