Te Amo (dbL)
August 2018 - Second Trim
Reading the Sole - Here are some issues that need to be addressed in Te Amo’s right front foot: ~Lateral side at the widest part of the sole is forward of the medial side. ~P3 is bearing more weight on the medial toe pillar and quarter. ~P3 is positioned more to the medial side of the hoof capsule. ~Mild wall separation around the peripheral edge of the sole ( with the least amount of separation being at the medial toe pillar and the most being at the lateral quarter ) ~Slight twist in in P3/hoof capsule alignment ( clockwise in photo ). ~Uneven heel and toe wear ~Lateral side of frog, heel, and heel bulb stretched laterally.

This horse has an incredible foundation. It’s amazing what’s possible for soft tissue development when horses have lots of room to move from day one.
